Welcome to the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Community Run

How WHWH came to be: Back in November 2014 Jen Hamel was out for her usual Sunday run on a particularly cold day dressed warm and determined . On the run she saw a homeless man who was so cold and was warming his hands in the exhaust of a downtown building. It sparked an idea to help him and many other of our city's homeless. This is our 7th annual run to collect and distribute winter essentials to those in need in our inner city. The run is approx. 5km in length with stops at 3-5 shelters in the downtown area. Please check out the event details page for more information. Our goal is and always will be to help those less fortunate in the inner city, by providing them with a bag of warm winter essentials.
